Double Eagle, to SASS Double Eagle Dave, shoots in several categories, depending upon his mood at the time. And he sometimes shoots real, live Colt revolvers. Of course he doesn't work them too hard. He shoots fast, and he shoots accurate, and he's a good posse leader, and works hard setting up the range with other cowfolk. So what does this have to do with not working his pistols too hard? Well, he shoots butterfly loads in his .45's. A butterfly load is one that when it hits the target and a butterfly is sitting on the top of the target, there's not enough bump to make it fly away. But hey, he hits dead center of the target.
