60 SHOOTERS PARTICIPATE IN SEPTEMBER

LUCKY SHOOT

Have you ever wondered how some folks shoot better than others? You probably think it has something to do with being able to hit targets fast & accurately.  Nope.  That ain’t all that’s involved.  Luck.  That’s the secret ingredient.  Example:  Last Kiss has really improved her shooting.  Is it her speed, or her new pistols, or her concentration? That’s what she’d probably say.  But look at the photo at the left and you’ll see her secret: she’s packing a green rabbits’ foot.  It’s lucky for her, but it did nothing for the rabbit.  And at the September shoot, Festus D. Deputy was selling rabbits’ feet in several colors: red, green & purple.  He was also selling other merchandise inspired by his hero , Marshal Too Tall.  See page 3 for more information.

September’s Wranglers were Sheriff Donald, Fast Harley, Ben Shot, Irish Jake,  Moonshine Roberts, Doc Duncan, Boondock Saint, Brenda Case & Richard Case. Brenda & Richard were observers who helped.  Wranglers are cowboys & cowgirls who put forth extra effort in helping conduct the shoot.
